The figures are cast in pewter and finished with hand-applied paint. The set is housed in its original orange and blue cardboard display box featuring a transparent plastic window. The packaging bears several printed marks including the Lionel logo, the product line name Lionelville People Pack, and the model number 6-24122 on the front and side panels. A circular graphic on the window reads Hand-painted pewter figures. The top right corner of the front panel is printed with FOR AGES 8 TO ADULT. The upper corner of the side/back flap is printed with the number 72-4122-200. , The six pewter figures appear in excellent, unused condition with no visible paint chips or losses (photo 1). The original cardboard packaging shows minor shelf wear, including a small surface tear and creasing at the top left corner of the front panel (photo 1) and softening with small creases to the end flap corners (photo 3). The transparent plastic window is intact and clear with minor superficial scuffing consistent with storage.
