Lionel O-Gauge AT&SF Caboose No. 6017-185 with Original Box - This O-Gauge model railroad caboose is constructed with a light gray plastic body and die-cast metal trucks and wheels. The exterior features red printed lettering and numbering including A.T.& S.F. and 6017 on both sides. A printed red mark on the lower left of each side reads BUILT BY LIONEL. The car is detailed with black ladders, end railings, a brake wheel, and a roof-mounted smokestack. The die-cast metal trucks are equipped with operating knuckle couplers and two contact rollers on the underside for electrical power pickup. The original orange and blue cardboard box is present. One side of the box is printed in blue with THE LIONEL CORPORATION and THE LIONEL CORPORATION, NEW YORK - CHICAGO. An end flap features blue text reading No. 6017-185, LIONEL, and CABOOSE. A copyright notice on the opposite end is printed in black and reads ©2010 LIONEL L.L.C. 26750 Twenty Three Mile Road, Chesterfield MI 48051. , The caboose is in near-mint condition with no visible paint chips, cracks, or missing components (photos 1, 4). The wheel treads and contact rollers show minimal to no signs of wear (photo 2). The original box is in good condition with minor shelf wear and a small tear on one of the inner tuck flaps (photo 1).
