A Group of Lionel and MRC Model Train Control Equipment and Power Supplies - This lot features an assortment of model train control components and power units. The collection includes a Lionel TrainMaster Command Control (TMCC) CAB-1 handheld remote controller. The unit is constructed from gray plastic and features a prominent red rotary throttle dial, a pink triangular Halt button, and various function buttons including WSTL/HRN, BELL, DIR, and numeric keys. The top of the remote displays the Lionel logo in red, blue, and white. Also included is a vintage Lionel-HO Power Pack, catalog number 0103. The black plastic housing features a red manual rotary throttle lever. An integrated metal faceplate is impressed with the text LIONEL-HO POWER PACK, CAT. NO. 0103, 115 VOLTS 60 CYCLES 12 WATTS, 16 VDC 8A MAX, TRAINMASTER TOY TRANSFORMER, and THE LIONEL CORPORATION NEW YORK, N.Y. MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA. The third component is a black plastic MRC Power Supply. An adhesive label on the unit reads MRC POWER SUPPLY, MODEL: U240265AB6, INPUT: 120VAC 60Hz 0.85A, OUTPUT: 24VAC 2650mA, and MADE IN CHINA. This unit includes a hardwired power cord with a two-prong plug and an output lead ending in a barrel connector. , The items in this lot are in used, untested condition and show signs of heavy storage wear. The CAB-1 remote exhibits surface dust and light scuffing; its antenna is present but appears partially retracted (photo 4). The Lionel-HO Power Pack shows significant accumulation of dust and grime across the housing and faceplate; the attached wiring appears brittle at the point of entry (photo 2). The MRC Power Supply is heavily coated in dust but the cords appear intact without visible fraying (photo 3).
