Lionel Lines 3927 Motorized Industrial Track Cleaning Car - This vintage O-gauge motorized track maintenance vehicle features a molded orange plastic body mounted on a black die-cast metal chassis. Designed for use on a 3-rail electric system, the unit is equipped with metal wheels and a central sliding metal pick-up shoe. The exterior is detailed with silver-toned metal handrails at the front and sides, a molded cab structure with open window slits, and dual molded roof horns. The car includes an operating knuckle-style coupler at one end. The sides of the plastic body feature blue printed text reading LIONEL LINES. Below this, model numbers are printed; one side shows 3 27 (photo 1) and the opposing side shows 39 7 (photo 3), indicating the model number 3927. The underside of the chassis includes a molded numerical mark reading 70 near the rear axle (photo 4). , The item is incomplete, missing the rotating crane boom assembly and internal cleaning mechanism typically mounted to the orange circular port on the deck. The orange plastic body shows significant accumulated dust and grime in recessed areas and molded details (photos 1, 2, 3).
