Lionel O-Gauge Electric Thomas the Tank Engine with Moving Eyes - This electric O-gauge locomotive is modeled after the character Thomas from the Thomas & Friends series. The toy features a blue molded plastic body with red piping and yellow accents, mounted to a black chassis. It is configured with an 0-6-0 wheel arrangement featuring blue-spoked wheels and metal side rods. The underside is equipped with a three-rail pickup system consisting of two metal rollers and includes two traction tires on the rear axle. The front of the boiler is currently open, revealing the internal mechanical assembly, which includes a white plastic lever designed to actuate the movement of the character's eyes. A separate gray plastic face plate with sculpted features and movable eyes is detached but present. The rear coal bunker contains a molded black coal load and a speaker grill is located on the underside of the chassis, indicating integrated sound capabilities. A printed mark on the underside of the chassis reads: 2004 Gullane (Thomas) Lim. , The locomotive is in used, played-with condition. The character face plate is completely detached from the boiler front (photo 1 and 6). There is a visible accumulation of dust and fine debris in the crevices, particularly around the cab roof and coal bunker (photo 3 and 4). Minor paint loss and surface wear are evident on the red-painted edges of the footplate and piping (photo 2). The locomotive is missing its original packaging, track, and power supply. The mechanical eye movement, internal sound system, and motor are untested for functionality.
