Model CSX Diesel Switcher Locomotive Road Number 1113 - A model diesel switcher locomotive constructed with a plastic body on a metal chassis with die-cast metal trucks. The locomotive is finished in a CSX livery featuring a light grey body, blue cab, and blue accents along the top and base of the hood. The side panels feature blue CSX lettering. The road number 1113 is printed on both sides of the cab and on the number boards at the front and rear. Mechanical features include an electric motor with dual power pickup rollers and four-wheel drive per truck. A speaker housing is mounted to the underside of the chassis, indicating an integrated sound system. The underside of the couplers are cast with PAT. PEND. in raised lettering. A small circular blue and gold adhesive label is present on the underside of the chassis, but the text on it is not legible. The locomotive is equipped with multiple applied details, including yellow-painted metal handrails, a roof-mounted bell, and twin exhaust stacks. , The locomotive is in good overall condition but displays a layer of surface dust and lint concentrated on the roof of the cab and along the top of the hood (photo 1). The paint and lettering are well-preserved with no significant losses visible. The handrails are largely intact, although one yellow vertical handrail on the rear of the cab is slightly bent (photo 5). The pickup rollers and wheels show light wear and darkening to the contact surfaces consistent with moderate use (photo 4). The mechanical and sound functions are untested.
