Gallet Swiss Seven Jewel Open Face Pocket Stopwatch - A Swiss-made open face pocket stopwatch featuring a white dial with black five-minute increments from 5 to 60 and a red numeral 60 at the twelve o'clock position. A sub-dial at the top center tracks minutes in increments from 3 to 30. The dial is printed near the bottom center with the name GALLET and the word SWISS. The nickel or chrome-plated base metal case features a polished finish and a plain, unengraved exterior back. The interior case back is engine-turned and stamped with JULES RACINE & CO, SWISS, and the serial number 711607. An additional small R is stamped above the serial number. The manual wind movement is protected by an inner dust cover stamped with the matching serial number 711607. The seven-jewel movement is engraved JULES RACINE & CO, SWISS, UNADJUSTED, 7 SEVEN JEWELS. The movement bridge is further engraved with NO 3364 D.R.P. 388992 and + NO 100230. The balance bridge bears the three-letter US import code JXR. The works run. Diameter: 1.88 inches. The watch is in used vintage condition. The exterior case exhibits heavy pocket wear with significant fine scratching and scuffing across the back (photo 2, 4). The crystal shows some light scratching (photo 1). The white dial appears clean with no visible hairline cracks or chipping (photo 1). The movement appears clean and free of visible corrosion or rust (photo 5).
