Westfield Art Deco Rolled Plate Wristwatch with Black Enamel Roman Numeral Bezel - A vintage Art Deco era manual wind wristwatch. The timepiece features a distinctive square frame housing a round champagne-tone dial with a concentric textured finish and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o'clock position. The circular bezel is finished with black enamel and inlaid silver-tone Roman numeral hour markers. The watch is fitted with a modern black leather strap featuring a crocodile grain pattern and a gold-tone buckle. The internal case back is stamped PROVIDENCE WATCH CASE CO. SWISS ROLLED PLATE 8078570 above a small chevron-shaped symbol. The mechanical movement is signed WESTFIELD WATCH CO. and is marked 10 B, SIX 6 JEWELS, SWISS, and TWO 2 ADJ. Width: 27 mm (excluding crown) Length: 35 mm (lug to lug). The watch does not run. The dial shows significant spotting and foxing across the entire surface (photo 2). The case displays heavy wear to the plating throughout, with significant loss on the reverse and lugs where the base metal is exposed and exhibiting green verdigris oxidation (photo 5, 6, 7). The black enamel bezel shows minor fading and small losses to the inlay (photo 2). The crystal has light surface scratching. The replacement leather strap shows minimal wear.
