Vintage Pride Manual Wind Two Tone Salmon Dial Tonneau Wristwatch - A Swiss-made manual wind wristwatch featuring a tonneau-shaped case. The two-tone dial is configured with a cream-colored outer chapter ring featuring raised Arabic numerals and a copper or salmon-toned rectangular center. A sub-second dial is positioned at the 6 o'clock mark with markings including 60, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. The dial is printed PRIDE below the 12 o'clock position and SWISS at the very bottom edge. The case is constructed with a yellow gold-toned base metal bezel and a stainless steel snap-back. The interior of the case back is stamped DURO STAINLESS BASE METAL. The mechanical movement is engraved SEELAND WATCH CO. SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS SWISS UNADJUSTED and bears the three-letter import code MXH near the balance wheel. The watch is fitted with a black textured leather strap and a silver-toned buckle. Case width: 25 mm Case length (lug to lug): 35 mm Overall length: 8.5 inches. The watch exhibits significant wear consistent with age and use. The base metal case shows heavy pitting and loss of the gold-toned finish, particularly visible on the lugs and case sides (photos 7, 8, and 12). The dial displays heavy spotting and foxing throughout the cream chapter ring (photo 2). The hands show oxidation and loss of finish (photo 1). The crystal has light surface scratches throughout (photo 1). The movement appears intact but shows surface grime and oxidation on several screw heads and gears (photo 15). The leather strap is worn with cracking and creasing at the lug attachment points (photo 6). The watch runs but needs a new crystal.
