Vintage Tissot Three Register Manual Wind Chronograph Wristwatch - A vintage Tissot chronograph wristwatch featuring a manual wind movement. The silvered sunburst dial is configured with three recessed, engine-turned sub-dials at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for chronograph functions and running seconds. The dial is printed in black with the brand name TISSOT at center top and SWISS MADE T at the bottom periphery. The outer edge features a tachymeter scale and a telemeter scale calibrated in miles. The watch case is constructed from a base metal with silver-tone plating and features a polished, unmarked stainless steel caseback. It is fitted with two pump-style chronograph pushers and a fluted winding crown. The watch is mounted on a black textured leather strap, the interior of which is stamped 18 and Genuine Leather. The watch runs. Case diameter: approximately 36 mm (excluding crown). The watch case displays significant wear and pitting throughout, with the silver-tone plating worn away on the crown and the edges of the lugs to reveal a yellowish base metal (photos 4, 6, and 7). The crystal shows heavy scratching and scuffing, particularly around the outer edges (photos 1 and 2). The dial exhibits some oxidation and discoloration at the periphery between the 12 and 2 o'clock positions (photo 2). The hands show visible oxidation and loss of original finish (photo 1). The caseback and lugs show heavy surface scratching from use (photos 5 and 6). The leather strap shows creasing and surface wear (photo 8).
