Bulova 14K Gold Filled Manual Wind Wristwatch with Mesh Bracelet - A vintage rectangular manual wind wristwatch. The rose-toned dial features black Arabic numerals, a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position, a railroad minute track, and black hands. A printed mark below the 12 o'clock position reads BULOVA. The rectangular 14 karat gold filled case features tiered lugs and a crown embossed with the name BULOVA. The interior of the case back is stamped BULOVA, 14K GOLD FILLED, and NEW YORK. The manual wind movement is engraved U.S.A., BULOVA WATCH CO., 21 JEWELS, and bears the caliber designation 7AK inside a rectangular border. The watch is fitted with a yellow gold-toned mesh metal band. The interior of the fold-over clasp is stamped Kreisler - QUALITY, U.S.A. PAT. PEND., GOLD CONT. .025, and BOTTOM DURO-BRITE. Case width: 21 mm (excluding crown) Lug-to-lug length: 37 mm. The watch is in non-running condition and does not run. The crystal exhibits heavy scratching and scuffing across the entire surface (photo 3). The dial shows significant patination, heavy spotting, and finish loss, particularly along the outer edges (photo 12). The 14 karat gold filled case displays visible brassing and wear-through of the gold layer on the lugs and sharp edges (photo 1). Significant green oxidation and verdigris are present in the interior channels of the case frame (photo 8, 9). The mesh bracelet shows surface wear and stretching consistent with age (photo 5).
