Clebar Manual Wind Two Register Chronograph Wristwatch - A Swiss-made manual-wind chronograph wristwatch. The champagne-tone dial features a two-register layout with a 60-second sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position and a 30-minute counter at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is printed with the name CLEBAR in black sans-serif characters below the 12 o'clock position. The outer perimeter includes a tachymeter scale marked BASE 60 to 1000 and a telemeter scale. The dial is set with applied Arabic numerals and stick indices. The movement is a 17-jewel manual-wind caliber and is engraved CLEBAR WATCH CO INC, UNADJUSTED, SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS, and SWISS. The balance bridge bears the KXF import code. The interior of the case back is decorated with perlage and is stamped CLEBAR WATCH CO INC, SWISS, SWISS, and the number 830368. Hand-etched watchmaker service marks are visible near the bottom edge of the interior case back. The exterior of the case back is stamped STAINLESS STEEL BACK and BASE METAL. The watch features a base metal bezel and lugs with rectangular chronograph pushers and a fluted winding crown. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap, the underside of which is stamped 18 Genuine Leather. The watch runs. The dial shows heavy oxidation and tropical patination throughout, with significant spotting and discoloration particularly concentrated between the 3 and 5 o'clock positions (photo 2). The hands exhibit surface oxidation and finish loss (photo 1). The base metal case shows heavy wear, with the plating worn through to the underlying brass-colored metal on the lugs, bezel, and case sides (photos 10 and 11). The case exhibits numerous scratches and nicks consistent with age and use (photo 6). The acrylic crystal shows light surface scratches (photo 3). The movement appears visually intact but shows light surface grime (photo 8).
