Mid Century Modern Lux Robertshaw-Fulton Electric Sunburst Wall Clock - A mid-century modern sunburst wall clock featuring an electric movement. The decorative outer frame is constructed from gold-tone metal rods arranged in eight radial clusters of five spokes each, connected by a central circular ring. The clock face is comprised of a dark brown or black chapter ring with raised Arabic numerals surrounding a golden-yellow textured central disc. The dial is protected by a domed plastic lens. The timepiece is fitted with black hour and minute hands and a red sweep second hand. The dial features a black script mark reading Lux above the center post and is printed MADE IN U.S.A. at the 6 o'clock position. The reverse plastic housing is embossed ROBERTSHAW-FULTON CONTROLS COMPANY / LUX TIME DIVISION / LEBANON, TENN. U.S.A. above a circled UL logo and electrical specifications reading 3 WATTS / 115 VOLTS A.C. 60 CY. The clock is powered by an integrated black electrical cord. Overall diameter: 26 inches Clock face diameter: 7 inches. The gold-tone metal frame and central ring show visible oxidation, surface pitting, and general wear to the finish (photo 1, 7). Several metal spokes are slightly bent or misaligned from the primary radial pattern (photo 5, 7). The protective plastic lens is heavily scuffed and scratched across the center, obscuring the Lux logo and hands (photo 4, 6). The yellow central dial disc appears discolored with surface warping and degradation visible under the lens (photo 2, 4). The reverse plastic casing shows heavy dust accumulation and surface abrasions consistent with age (photo 8, 9). The clock is corded; however, its functional working status is not tested.
