Citizen Quartz Day-Date Gold-Tone Wristwatch with Blue Dial - This gold-tone Citizen wrist watch features a Datejust-style aesthetic with a fluted bezel and an integrated jubilee-style bracelet. The deep blue sunburst dial is set with gold-tone baton hour markers, luminescent dots, and a day-date window at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is printed with CITIZEN QUARTZ in gold lettering below the 12 o'clock marker and a small stylized logo above the 6 o'clock marker. Small text along the bottom edge of the dial reads JAPAN MOVT-P-6100-R30361-Y. The watch is constructed from gold-tone base metal, as indicated by the case back markings. The screw-down stainless steel case back is engraved with a commemorative inscription reading J L V SWIFT GLASS 25 YEARS. Factory markings on the case back include CITIZEN WATCH CO., WATER RESIST, BASE METAL YP, 6100-R00391 RW, 5 0 4 0 3 7 8 5, and GN-4W-S. The watch is fitted with a matching gold-tone jubilee bracelet featuring a fold-over clasp embossed with the CITIZEN name. The internal movement is quartz and is untested, needing a battery. The case measures approximately 1.4 inches (36mm) in diameter. The watch shows significant signs of wear and age. There is heavy pitting and loss of the gold-tone plating across the case, bezel, and jubilee links (photo 1, 3, and 6). The crystal exhibits visible scuffing and impact marks, most notably between the 1 and 2 o'clock positions and near the 9 o'clock marker (photo 5). The blue dial shows spotting and patina consistent with age or possible moisture ingress (photo 5). The case back and clasp have numerous scratches and scuffs from use (photo 6 and 7). The movement is currently non-functional and requires a new battery for testing.
