Seiko Stainless Steel Quartz Day/Date Field Watch Reference 7N43-8329 - A Seiko Japanese movement quartz wristwatch featuring a circular black dial with white Arabic numeral hour markers and a railroad-style outer minute track. The dial is printed with the brand name SEIKO below the 12 o'clock position and marked WATER RESIST 100M above 6 o'clock. A day and date aperture is positioned at 3 o'clock. The dial base is marked MOVT JAPAN 7N43-8B41 R 2. The watch is housed in a stainless steel case with a polished bezel and integrated crown guards. It is paired with a stainless steel Jubilee-style link bracelet. The interior of the folding clasp is stamped STAINLESS STEEL-B, and the end links are stamped 44X4-B·E. The screw-down case back is stamped SEIKO, STAINLESS STEEL, 7N43-8329 [A4], MOVT JAPAN, WATER RESISTANT 10BAR, and serial number 120013. The case back also features a commemorative corporate engraving for 25 years of service, reading K.N. Brundage, Mercury Air Craft Inc., 25 Yrs. with a central S-curve logo. The watch is presented in a black hardshell Seiko-branded storage box. This item needs battery. Case Diameter: 36mm across the widest point excluding the crown. The watch shows signs of regular wear consistent with use. There are visible surface scratches and scuffs on the stainless steel case, bezel, and bracelet links (photos 2 and 3). The crystal has several visible scratches, most notably a prominent mark across the center and another near the 12 o'clock position (photo 2). Minor accumulated grime is present in the crevices of the bracelet links and around the case back seal (photos 3 and 4). The watch is currently non-functional and requires a battery replacement.
