Election Vintage Trench Style Manual Wind Wristwatch - This is a Swiss-made vintage wristwatch, styled as an early 20th-century trench watch or wristlet. The dial is a white enamel or porcelain surface featuring skeletonized Arabic numerals and a black outer minute track with diamond-shaped markers at the cardinal points. A sub-seconds dial is positioned at the 6 o'clock mark with black printed numerals at ten-second intervals. The case is constructed from a silver-toned metal, possibly nickel or silver, featuring fixed wire lugs and a large, fluted onion-style crown. The dial is marked below the 12 o'clock position with a printed logo consisting of a stylized lowercase letter e inside a circle, positioned above the word ELECTION in uppercase serif characters. The movement is a manual wind type, though the interior caliber is not visible. This watch features a hinged case back. Case diameter: 1 1/8 inches Case thickness: approximately 10mm. The watch is in an incomplete and non-functional state. The crystal is missing (photo 1). The hour, minute, and sub-second hands are missing, with only the central arbor and a small fragment of a hand remaining (photo 2). The enamel dial shows significant loss of the original luminous fill within the skeletonized numerals, and there is minor surface pitting and debris near the center (photo 1). The metal case exhibits heavy patina, surface scratching, and oxidation throughout (photo 4). The case hinge shows signs of wear and gaps in closure (photo 3). The fixed lugs show surface wear and minor deformation (photo 6). The item is described as runs but needs hands and crystal.
