Benrus Series 3061 Stainless Steel Manual Wind Wristwatch - A vintage Benrus wristwatch featuring a stainless steel case and an aged cream dial. The dial is set with gold-tone Arabic numerals and luminous-filled dauphine hands. It features a center sweep seconds hand and is marked BENRUS below the 12 o'clock position, with SHOCK ABSORBER printed above the 6 o'clock position. The word SWISS is printed at the very bottom of the dial. The case back is circular with a brushed finish center and polished perimeter. It is stamped with the following text: WATERPROOF - SHOCK ABSORBING - DUSTPROOF; a rectangular logo containing the name BENRUS; STAINLESS STEEL; SERIES #3061; and OPEN THRU CRYSTAL. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket stainless steel expansion band. The interior of the band links are stamped SPEIDEL, PAT. 2,689,450, and STAINLESS STEEL BOTTOM CAPS 67. Per user-provided facts, the watch runs. Case size: 32mm. The watch shows significant signs of age and wear. The dial exhibits heavy spotting and oxidation across the entire surface (photo 2). The crystal has numerous fine scratches and scuffs consistent with use (photo 1). The stainless steel case and lugs show multiple surface scratches and minor nicks (photo 5). The expansion band shows accumulated dirt and surface wear between the links (photo 6). The crown shows wear to the knurling.
