Gruen Veri-Thin Ladies 10K Gold Filled Mechanical Wristwatch - A vintage Gruen Veri-Thin ladies mechanical wristwatch featuring a manual wind movement. The watch is constructed with a 10K gold filled bezel and a stainless steel case back. The dial is finished in an aged cream tone and features gold-tone Arabic numeral hour markers and dauphine hands. The timepiece is fitted with a gold-filled expansion bracelet that utilizes a snake-chain style top and a folding center clasp. The dial is printed with GRUEN below the 12 o'clock position and VERI-THIN underneath. The case back is stamped 10K G.F. BEZEL STEEL BACK. The crown is embossed with GRUEN on the end. The interior of the folding clasp is stamped with a triangular logo containing a B, followed by 1/20-12K GOLD FILLED and PAT. 2097035 U.S.A. The underside of the decorative lugs is stamped with the characters TIANG. Per user-provided facts, this watch is in running condition. Case Width: Approximately 16mm (excluding crown) Case Length: Approximately 25mm (including lugs). The watch is in heavily used vintage condition. Significant green verdigris and oxidation are visible on the underside of the lugs (photo 6) and throughout the expansion links of the bracelet (photo 4). There is noticeable wear to the gold-filled surfaces (brassing) on the high points of the case edges and the bracelet (photo 1). The acrylic crystal is heavily scratched and shows significant yellowing and crazing (photo 2, photo 9). The dial displays heavy spotting and a dark patina consistent with age and exposure (photo 2). The bracelet shows some stretching and surface grime between the links (photo 4, photo 5).
