Bulova Accutron Quartz Gold Filled Tank Style Ladies Wristwatch with Tan Leather Strap - This U.S.A.-made ladies' quartz wristwatch features a classic gold-tone tank-style case and a white dial. The dial is marked ”BULOVA ACCUTRON” below the twelve o'clock position and ”QUARTZ” above the six o'clock position, featuring printed black Roman numeral hour markers. The gold-tone hour and minute hands are centrally mounted. The reverse of the case is stamped ”BULOVA,” ”BASE METAL BEZEL,” ”R.G.P. BACK,” and the date code ”N8,” indicating a 1978 production year. Opening the case reveals a gold-tone quartz movement stamped with the ”BULOVA” name, the caliber ”2470.10,” and ”U.S.A.” The interior of the case back retains an original circular paper sticker reading ”USE BULOVA CELL 247,” and includes handwritten service or inventory notations in black and green ink. The watch is fitted with a textured tan leather strap featuring a gold-tone buckle. This timepiece needs a battery. Overall length: approximately 8 inches. The watch exhibits significant signs of wear consistent with age and use. The crystal is heavily scratched and scuffed across its surface (photo 1, 8). The metal case shows pervasive light scratching and more substantial wear to the gold plating on the lugs and sharp edges, where the base metal is visible (photo 2, 4, 8). The leather strap shows creasing and darkening from use, particularly near the buckle and adjustment holes (photo 3, 9). The movement appears intact but is currently non-functional and needs a battery.
