Vintage Bulova Fifth Avenue Gilt Trimmed Watch Presentation Box - A vintage rectangular watch presentation box constructed of a hard shell covered in a burgundy pebble-grained faux leather. The lid features a gilded stamped decorative border consisting of a continuous wavy line accented by fleur-de-lis motifs at each corner. The interior is lined with burgundy satin on the inside lid and a matching flocked or velvet material on the base. The interior satin lining of the lid bears gilded printing in three lines. The top line reads BULOVA in a serif typeface, followed by Fifth Avenue in a cursive script, and NEW YORK in small block capitals below. The box is equipped with a metal hinge at the rear. Length: 6.5 inches. The item exhibits significant signs of wear and age. The interior velvet base displays extensive white surface spotting and discoloration throughout, consistent with adhesive degradation or foxing (photos 1, 2). There is visible edge wear and scuffing to the burgundy leatherette exterior, particularly along the lower front and side edges (photos 1, 5, 7). The gilded decorative stamping on the lid shows partial fading and loss of detail in several areas (photo 4). The interior satin lining shows minor fraying and light surface debris (photo 3).
