Swiss Fifteen Jewel Cushion Form Pendant Watch in a Fahys Montauk Quality Gold Filled Case - A Swiss made pendant watch featuring a manual wind movement. The timepiece is housed in a cushion shaped gold filled case with decorative foliate engraving on the bezel and an ornate openwork bow. The dial is a patinated gold tone with a circular minute track and stylized Arabic numerals. It features blued steel spade and whip hands and is marked SWISS below the 6 o'clock position. The reverse of the case is engraved with a large flowing script monogram, which appears to be the initials LLL or similar. The interior of the case back is struck with a maker's mark consisting of a scripted Fahys above the words MONTAUK QUALITY in a curved arrangement. Below this are the numerals 950 and the serial number 1079261. The movement is visible upon removing the snap-on case back and is engraved 15 JEWELS, SWISS MADE, and 2 ADJ. The bridge is also marked ZINNIA WATCH CO. and SWISS. A regulator scale is present with the letters R and S above A and F. The case rim is stamped with the number 07261. According to user-provided facts, the watch winds but does not run. A wooden ruler is visible in the photographs for scale. The case measures approximately 1 inch (25 mm) in width excluding the crown, and the total height including the bow is approximately 1.3 inches (33 mm). The watch case shows surface scratches and scuffing consistent with age and use (photo 7).
