The bezel and lugs are finished in 10-karat yellow rolled gold plate, while the case back is composed of brushed stainless steel. The cream-toned dial is set with applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at the even hours and chevron markers at the odd hours, featuring a recessed sub-seconds dial at the six o'clock position. The dial bears a printed mark reading ELGIN below the twelve o'clock position, accompanied by a stylized dp logo. The winding crown is embossed with the name ELGIN in capital letters. The case back features an impressed two-line mark reading STAINLESS STEEL above a horizontal divider, with W 10K R.G.P. BEZEL below. The watch is fitted with a textured brown leather strap featuring a gold-tone pin buckle. According to provided documentation, the watch runs. Case measures approximately 1 3/8 inches (35mm) from lug to lug and 1 inch (25mm) in width excluding the crown. The strap width at the lugs is approximately 16mm. The watch exhibits significant signs of wear and age. The crystal is heavily damaged with multiple scratches and a prominent vertical crack running through the center (photo 2). The dial shows extensive patination, spotting, and accumulated debris (photo 2). The gold plating on the bezel and lugs shows significant thinning and loss, particularly on the edges where the base metal is visible (photo 1). Heavy green oxidation (verdigris) is present on the lugs and the interior of the strap attachment points (photo 3 and photo 8). The stainless steel case back shows numerous surface scratches and scuffs (photo 6). The leather strap is in poor, distressed condition, featuring heavy cracking, brittleness, and a complete break in one section (photo 8).
