A Collection of Vintage Digital LCD Quartz Wristwatches and Metal Bands - A group of vintage digital LCD quartz wristwatches and separate metal watch bands, primarily dating from the 1970s and 1980s. The assortment includes watches with silver-tone and gold-tone base metal cases featuring integrated and separate link bracelets. One wristwatch features a gold-tone case with a rectangular display and is printed with Armitron above the screen. Another unit with a silver-tone case and gold-tone accents is printed with CLASSIC and LCD QUARTZ on the face. A third silver-tone watch is printed with Pulsar ALARM CHRONOGRAPH and contains additional text including 24HR and TIMER. A fourth watch head, shown in a reversed orientation, is printed with QUARTZ ALARM. Markings on the case backs include a circular brushed metal back printed with STAINLESS STEEL BACK, 40/6226, 6200, HONG KONG, and E. GLUCK CORP. Another case back features stamped text reading QUINTEL, HONG KONG, ANTIMAGNETIC, and SHOCK PROTECTED. One watch clasp is stamped 100% STAINLESS STEEL. The watch bands include several expansion and fold-over clasp styles in various link patterns. Based on the included ruler, the items measure between 7 and 8 inches in length. The collection is in poor to fair condition. Significant surface scratching is visible on all crystals and metal cases (photo 1, photo 2). There is heavy wear and thinning to the gold-tone plating across multiple units (photo 3). Extensive green oxidation and verdigris are present on the silver-tone and gold-tone metal bands (photo 3, photo 5). All digital displays are currently blank, and the functional status of the movements is unknown; they may require battery replacement or internal repair.
