Vintage Chrome Plated Single Button Chronograph Wristwatch - A mid-century manual wind single button (monopusher) chronograph wristwatch. The round case is chrome-plated with a stainless steel case back and features a single rectangular pusher at the 4 o'clock position and a textured winding crown at 3 o'clock. The dark dial has aged to a tropicalized brownish-gold hue and features luminescent Arabic numeral hour markers from 1 to 12. A peripheral scale at the dial edge is printed with the word TELEMETRE and graduated from 1 to 19. The dial includes a single sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. Luminous-filled syringe-style hands show significant oxidation. The dial also bears printed text above the 6 o'clock sub-dial that is not clearly legible due to the condition of the crystal and dial aging, though characters appearing to end in LAN are partially visible. The movement was not inspected, and the watch does not run. The watch is mounted on a stitched reddish-brown leather strap with a gold-tone tang buckle. The solid case back is plain and bears no visible serial numbers or hallmarks. The chrome-plated case shows significant wear with pitting and scratches throughout the bezel, lugs, and case back (photos 1, 5, and 8). The dial surface and luminescent material exhibit heavy patination and aging (photo 1). The crystal is heavily scratched and features a prominent red linear fracture at the 6 o'clock position (photo 1). The leather strap is distressed with visible cracking to the surface and fraying at the edges (photos 3, 6, and 7). The mechanical movement is non-functional.
