Vintage Swiss Made Open Face Mechanical Stopwatch - A vintage open-face mechanical stopwatch featuring a base metal case and a white dial. The dial is configured with a 60-second outer track featuring a red 60 at the top and a 30-minute subsidiary register at the 6 o'clock position with a red 30. The movement is visible through a clear interior dust cover and is engraved with the word SWISS near the edge of the plate. A regulator scale on the balance bridge is marked with the letters S and F to denote slow and fast adjustments. The case is equipped with a classic pocket watch-style bow and a fluted winding crown. The watch does not run. Diameter: Approx. 47mm (1.85 inches) Total Height: Approx. 63mm (2.5 inches). The case exhibits significant oxidation, pitting, and patches of green verdigris throughout the exterior surface and bow (photos 1, 5). The white dial shows several dark spots of foxing and dust accumulation, though the numerals remain clear and legible (photo 2). The crystal has minor surface scratches (photo 2). The movement shows surface tarnishing and is not functional (photo 4).
