Belair Moonphase Quartz Wristwatch with Case and Tags - A vintage Belair moonphase wristwatch featuring a gold-tone base metal bezel and a stainless steel case back. The white dial is designed with black Roman numeral hour markers, a moonphase complication at the 12 o'clock position, and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Centrally, the dial is printed in black script with the name Belair and the word Quartz. The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement. The case back is stamped with several markings including BASE METAL BEZEL, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, and SWISS MOVEMENT, along with the digits 955419. A small white adhesive label on the case back is printed with A4113. The watch is presented on a tan textured leather strap with a gold-tone buckle. The accompanying presentation box and tags are printed with the ETA movement logo and the text Belair, Swiss Quartz, and Assembled in U.S.A. The inner lid of the box contains handwritten notes in ink reading 18-419-2 and 112-/. This watch needs a battery for operation. Case diameter: 32mm (excluding crown) Total length: 8.75 inches. The watch appears to be in new old stock condition, retaining a protective red-line sticker and a printed retail label on the case back (photo 5). Light surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with storage are visible on the polished surfaces of the case and lugs (photo 6). The tan leather strap shows slight stiffness and minor discoloration due to age but remains intact (photo 7). The presentation box shows shelf wear, including small tears at the corners and minor surface abrasions (photo 8). The mechanical working order of the movement and complications has not been tested; the battery requires replacement.
