20th Century High-Relief Composition Wall Plaque Depicting an Alpine Interior Scene - A rectangular high-relief wall plaque cast from a molded composition material, possibly a resin or polymer, finished with a mottled olive-green and gold-toned patina. The relief depicts a traditional Alpine or Bavarian interior scene featuring three figures: a man in traditional dress seated on a bench playing a zither or lap dulcimer, a woman seated beside him resting her head in her hand, and a second woman standing behind her. A small dachshund-style dog is seated in the lower-left foreground. The background is filled with rustic details, including kitchenware hanging on the wall, a rifle, and harvested game birds. The plaque is set within a shallow integral molded frame. The reverse is flat with a marbled green and white appearance. A small square white adhesive label is affixed to the lower-left corner of the reverse, bearing the handwritten characters 7/2. The reverse also shows remnants of white adhesive tape and surface discoloration. 11.5 inches by 8 inches. The plaque is in good overall condition. A small chip is visible on the upper-right edge of the molded frame (photo 1, photo 4). Light surface wear is present on the gilded highlights across the raised portions of the relief (photo 2). The reverse side shows significant remnants of white adhesive tape and general surface discoloration (photo 3).
