Late 20th Century Two Decorative Resin Figurines - This lot consists of two decorative objects dating to the late 20th century. The first is a figurine of a walking boar or pig, crafted from a textured resin finished in a deep red color intended to simulate cinnabar lacquer. The animal is modeled with an open mouth and a curled tail, standing upon a solid rectangular base. Adhered to the underside of the base is a rectangular yellow paper label with printed text reading Handarbeit and Made in West-Germany, with a printed identifier B 274 below. A circular recessed area is visible on the base containing a small wood fragment. The second object is a small relief wall plaque featuring three winged cherub heads in a clustered formation. The plaque is composed of a molded ochre-colored composite material. The reverse side is flat with an integrated golden twisted cord loop for hanging. A small white rectangular adhesive sticker is present on the back, containing the printed alphanumeric codes E49N and 91 21.30. Length of boar approximately 3.75 inches; height of boar approximately 2.75 inches. Width of cherub plaque approximately 3.5 inches; height of cherub plaque approximately 3.5 inches. The red boar figurine is in good vintage condition with minor wear to the red finish visible along the sharp lower edges of the rectangular base (photo 2). The underside of the base features a circular recessed area containing a small piece of mounting material (photo 2). The cherub wall plaque is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the molded surface or the hanging loop (photo 3, photo 4).
