A Pair of Harley-Davidson Softail Chrome Slip-Fit Mufflers - This lot comprises a pair of chrome-finished motorcycle mufflers, identified as Harley-Davidson Softail Muffler Slip Fit Kits. The mufflers are constructed from polished chrome-plated metal and feature slash-cut ends. Each muffler is currently enclosed in its original clear plastic packaging, with the slash-cut ends further protected by brown cardboard inserts. Included with the mufflers is a paper instruction sheet. The top of the sheet features the Harley-Davidson Motor Company bar and shield logo printed in black. The document is titled INSTRUCTIONS and bears the identification number -J01846 and a revision date of REV. 5-11-00. The text further identifies these as Kit Number 80354-00, 80344-00, noting they are designed for use on 2000 Softail models. A black caution bar at the bottom of the visible section reads CAUTION Perform this installation when the engine is cool. The mufflers retain their mounting brackets, visible through the plastic wrapping. The mufflers appear to be in new-old-stock (NOS) condition. They remain sealed in their original manufacturer's plastic wrapping (photos 1 and 2). The chrome finish appears bright and reflective with no visible pitting, oxidation, or scratches through the packaging. The included instruction sheet shows horizontal fold lines consistent with being packaged (photo 3). The protective cardboard inserts at the exhaust tips remain intact and in place (photo 4). No visible faults.
