Pair of Harley-Davidson Type Hard Saddlebags with Lids and Hardware - A matching pair of hard-shell motorcycle saddlebags designed for touring models. The bags feature a cream-colored finish and are constructed from a rigid composite material. Each bag is fitted with a hinged lid secured by black circular twist-style latches on the top surface. The exterior of each bag includes an oval-shaped red reflector at the rear and a rectangular red reflector on the side. The interior of one bag contains various mounting hardware components, including metal pins and a curved chrome bracket. An interior paper document visible in one bag references a 2002 motorcycle. Both saddlebags are in poor, salvage condition. There is extensive structural cracking and material failure across the top surfaces and along the edges of the lids, most notably a large, jagged horizontal crack spanning the length of one lid (Image 5, 7). The outer finish is heavily scuffed, stained, and shows significant grime buildup throughout (Images 1, 3, 5). Surface oxidation is present on the metal hinges and internal hardware (Images 1, 4). The rubber lid seals show signs of perishing and detachment in several areas (Image 7).
