Drag Specialties Custom 16 x 3.00 Disc Motorcycle Wheel - A custom motorcycle wheel rim manufactured by Drag Specialties. The wheel features a solid disc design with a textured central casting and a machined outer rim. The central hub is fitted with a pre-installed ball bearing and includes five threaded mounting holes for a brake rotor or drive sprocket. A chrome-finished tubeless tire valve stem is installed in the rim. The wheel is housed in its original cardboard shipping box, which features printed black text reading CUSTOM WHEEL and Drag Specialties, INC., P.O. BOX 9336, MPLS., MN 55440. Several markings are embossed directly onto the wheel disc: near the outer circumference is the text SUITABLE FOR TUBELESS TIRES, while the area near the hub is marked with H.T.J.B, DOT, and J16 x 3.00. The textured surface of the central disc has a matte silver appearance. Diameter: 17 inches (as measured across the outer rim lip) Stated Rim Size: 16 x 3.00 inches (per embossed marking). The wheel is in new-old-stock condition and appears never to have been mounted. There is a light accumulation of surface dust and minor oxidation visible on the textured areas of the central casting (photo 4). The machined outer lip shows no signs of curb rash or tool marks. The original cardboard packaging shows significant wear consistent with long-term storage, including surface soiling, edge crushing, and various layers of adhesive tape (photos 5, 6, and 7). A piece of blue painter's tape is adhered to one side of the box with the number 113 handwritten in black ink (photo 7).
