Harley-Davidson Sportster Motorcycle Exhaust Header Pipe Set - A set of motorcycle exhaust header pipes constructed of motorcycle. The assembly consists of two curved headers joined by a central crossover support brace, a configuration distinctive to Harley-Davidson Sportster models. The headers are fabricated from tubular metal with a chrome-plated exterior and feature flanged port ends for mounting to the cylinder heads. One header retains a mounting clamp at the outlet. No legible maker marks, stamps, serial numbers, or labels are present on the visible surfaces of the assembly. The item is in poor used condition. Extensive heavy corrosion and thick surface rust are present throughout the pipes and crossover brace (Photos 1, 2, 5, and 6). The chrome finish exhibits significant degradation, including widespread pitting, oxidation, and flaking (Photos 1 and 2). A metal fracture is visible at the base of the flanged port on one header pipe (Photo 3). The interior of the pipes shows heavy carbon buildup and soot residue (Photo 4).
