1984-1999 Harley-Davidson Softail Laced Spoke Rear Wheel Rim and Tire - A 16-inch laced rear wheel assembly designed for motorcycle applications. The unit consists of a chrome-finished steel rim connected by wire spokes to a central hub featuring a five-bolt mounting flange. The wheel is fitted with a tire measuring 140/90-16. The hub configuration is consistent with Harley-Davidson Softail and Touring models produced between 1984 and 1999. Measurements taken from the images show a tire diameter of approximately 25 inches (photo 7) and a tire width of approximately 6 inches (photo 8). The wheel is in poor condition with extensive environmental damage. The chrome rim shows heavy, widespread rust, pitting, and corrosion on both the inner and outer surfaces (photos 1, 4, and 5). The wire spokes are significantly tarnished and corroded (photo 6). The hub shows surface rust on the flange and heavy grease buildup around the central axle opening (photo 2). The tire is aged and dirty with visible surface wear (photo 3).
