A Pair of Steel Split Motorcycle Fuel Tanks - This set consists of two steel motorcycle fuel tanks designed in a split configuration, consisting of a left and a right side tank. The units are finished in a gray primer. Each tank is constructed with a top mounting tab and a rear mounting hole located along the interior seam. Threaded fuel crossover line fittings are integrated into the lower interior sections. The tanks feature raised circular filler necks at the top. No maker name, brand logo, part number, or hallmark is visible on the exterior surfaces or the undersides of the tanks. The tanks are in poor, heavily used condition. Significant corrosion and metal loss are present around both fuel filler necks, with the rim of one neck heavily degraded (photo 1, photo 4). The gray primer finish shows extensive scratching, scuffing, and peeling across the entire surface (photo 2, photo 3). Surface rust is evident on the body, mounting tabs, and inner seams (photo 5, photo 6). Internal oxidation is visible through the filler openings (photo 1). Multiple dents are visible on the rounded outer sections of both tanks (photo 3, photo 5). The items lack gas caps, fuel lines, and mounting hardware.
