A Pair of Dark Burgundy Hard-Shell Motorcycle Touring Saddlebags - A pair of hard-shell motorcycle saddlebags, constructed of motorcycle material with a dark burgundy gloss finish. The bags feature top-opening lids secured by metal hinges and rear-mounted locking cylinders. No part number is visible on the components. The interior of each bag is finished in tan and contains informational adhesive labels indicating compatibility with touring models from 1996 and earlier, as well as 1997 and later. One black adhesive label is printed with the text MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED LOAD FOR EACH SADDLEBAG IS 15 LBS. and provides specifications for AIR SUSPENSION with pressure ratings for 1996 AND EARLIER and AND LATER models. A second orange label is marked with a WARNING regarding load limits and tire inflation maintenance. The exterior is fitted with rectangular metal mounting plates and circular lock covers. This pair is in used condition with significant cosmetic wear. The dark burgundy finish exhibits numerous scuffs, deep surface scratches, and paint chips, primarily concentrated along the bottom edges and side panels (photos 1, 2, and 4). Surface oxidation and rust are visible on the metal hinges and latching hardware (photo 2). The interior compartments show accumulation of dust, grime, and red-toned staining (photo 5). Lock cylinders are present, but keys are not included (photo 3). The interior adhesive labels show wear, with some portions of the text being illegible or peeled away (photo 6).
