Vintage B&S Enterprises Comfort King Motorcyle Seat - This vintage two-tier King and Queen style motorcycle seat is manufactured from motorcyle materials and upholstered in off-white vinyl. The seat and passenger backrest feature a classic decorative diamond-stitched pattern. The internal padding is supported by a black-painted metal base pan. Mounting hardware is integrated into the pan, including a front-mounted tongue bracket and two rear vertical steel mounting bars secured with bolts. A black rectangular adhesive label on the underside of the pan reads COMFORT KING Mfg By B&S ENTERPRISES Mt Vernon, Ill. 62864 R.R. 3 2200 Harlan Rd. Pat Pend. The off-white vinyl upholstery displays heavy, widespread brown and orange staining throughout the seat and backrest surfaces, consistent with rust transfer (Photo 1, 3). A rectangular strip of adhesive residue is visible on the main rider seating area (Photo 1, 3). The vinyl shows fraying and minor tearing along the bottom edges where it is stapled to the base pan (Photo 2, 5). The metal base pan, mounting brackets, and fasteners exhibit significant surface rust and heavy oxidation (Photo 2, 5, 6). The item is covered in surface dust and grime from long-term storage.
