Vintage Spoke Rear Motorcycle Wheel Assembly with Dunlop Tire - A vintage rear motorcycle wheel assembly constructed of typical motorcycle materials including a metal rim and rubber tire. The assembly features a wire-spoke design with a chrome-finished rim. The hub includes an integrated drum brake assembly and a drive sprocket. The tire sidewall features several legible markings including the brand name DUNLOP and the text MADE IN U.S.A. Additional transcribed markings on the tire sidewall include 318 71 H, STMC-4958, and REINFORCED. The metal rim and spokes are of traditional wire construction. No manufacturer name is visible on the hub, sprocket, or rim. Overall Diameter: 25 1/2 inches (measured across the widest point) Tire Width: 5 inches. The assembly is in used, vintage condition. The tire exhibits severe age-related degradation, including deep structural cracking and dry rot throughout the tread and sidewalls (photo 5 and 6). The wire spokes show heavy surface rust and corrosion (photo 4). The chrome-finished rim shows scattered oxidation, pitting, and surface grime (photo 4). The brake drum cover and drive sprocket exhibit surface rust and accumulated road grease (photo 1). The functional condition of the internal brake components is unknown.
