Harley-Davidson Ironhead Sportster V-Twin Engine with Integrated Transmission - A vintage, unit-construction air-cooled V-twin motorcycle engine featuring an integrated transmission. This overhead valve (OHV) assembly is configured in a 45-degree angle consistent with the Ironhead Sportster series. The unit includes the cylinder heads, cylinders, crankcases, primary cover, and a top-mounted electric starter motor. A drive sprocket is attached to the right-side output shaft. Mounted between the cylinders is an ignition switch housing containing a metal key. The key is stamped with the characters HARLEY-DAVIDSON and the word BELL. The assembly retains its pushrod tubes, rocker boxes, and various mounting hardware, though the carburetor, intake manifold, and exhaust headers are not present. The engine is constructed primarily of cast aluminum and ferrous steel components. This engine is in used, barn-find condition
