Black Vinyl Solo Motorcycle Seat for Sportster Models Part Number 055977 - This solo motorcycle rider seat is designed for Sportster models and features a contoured bucket shape. The exterior is upholstered in black vinyl with top-stitched seams following the perimeter and central seating area. The underside is constructed from a molded black plastic pan designed with two integrated rubber bumpers and a metal forward mounting bracket secured by four rivets. A white adhesive rectangular label is attached to the center of the pan with the handwritten pencil text SPORTSTER SEAT. A blue ink-stamped number 055977 is located adjacent to the label. This seat is compatible with Harley-Davidson Sportster XL models, typically ranging from 2004 to present. The seat is in used condition. The black vinyl upholstery shows minor surface scuffs and light soiling across the top surface (photo 1). A small white mark is visible on the upper central area of the seat (photo 2). A small tear and material separation are present in the vinyl cover at the front center edge where it wraps around the plastic seat pan (photo 4). The underside of the plastic pan exhibits various surface scratches and signs of wear consistent with previous mounting (photo 4). The metal mounting bracket shows minor surface oxidation and wear around the rivet points (photo 4).
