A Pair of Willie & Max Synthetic Leather Motorcycle Saddlebags - This is a pair of American-made throw-over style saddlebags constructed from motorcycle synthetic leather. The set consists of two bags joined by a central connecting yoke featuring four silver-tone metal mounting grommets. Each bag is designed with a slanted profile and features a fold-over flap. The flaps are secured by two adjustable straps with silver-tone metal buckles and a central decorative metal stud. A small yellow cloth tag printed with the logo Willie & Max is sewn to the exterior side of each bag. The interior of one flap features a yellowed cloth label reading Willie AND Max followed by a registered trademark symbol. The label also contains the text MAXIMUM WEIGHT PER SIDE—16 lbs., CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH HOT ENGINE PARTS., and Pinsley Mfg., Inc. MADE IN USA. The saddlebags are in heavily used condition with significant accumulations of dust and surface grime visible in Photos 1, 2, and 5. The synthetic leather material shows widespread scuffing and edge wear (Photo 4). All metal hardware, including the buckles and mounting grommets, shows surface oxidation and corrosion (Photos 1 and 4). The central yoke has irregular, trimmed edges (Photo 3). The manufacturer label is frayed and stained (Photo 6). One strap is partially damaged near the buckle (Photo 5).
