A Pair of Showa Motorcycle Front Fork Assemblies Part Numbers R46502-06 and L46495-06 - A pair of motorcycle front fork assemblies constructed from motorcycle materials. Manufactured by Showa, each fork leg features an adhesive label in black and silver printed with characters R46502-06, L46495-06, and G5B3-30. The lower aluminum sliders are cast with the maker name SHOWA. The left slider includes cast marks G5B3-10-L and SA-3, along with four small circles containing 6, L, 0, and 0. The right slider is cast with G5B3-10-R and SA-5, with circles containing 6, L, 2, and 3. Faintly stamped numbers 9 N 0 6 and 9 N 1 7 appear on the inner side of the axle lugs. The assemblies consist of chrome inner stanchion tubes and cast aluminum lower sliders. These components are compatible with 2006 and later Harley-Davidson Dyna and Touring models, specifically those equipped for dual disc brake applications. The lower aluminum sliders exhibit extensive surface oxidation, corrosion, and pitting throughout both components (photos 1, 2, 3, and 4). There is visible peeling and weathering of the original factory finish on the aluminum surfaces (photos 3 and 4). One fork leg retains its bottom axle clamp assembly with two threaded studs and nuts, while the other leg is missing the clamp hardware (photo 5). The chrome inner tubes show minor surface wear and scattered light scratches but no major gouging (photo 1). Road grime, dirt, and grease residue are present across all components. The internal mechanical condition and seal integrity are untested and unknown.
