Kuryakyn Hypercharger Motorcycle Air Intake Assembly - This motorcycle performance component is a Kuryakyn Hypercharger air intake assembly. The unit is made of chromed metal and features brass-toned butterfly valves. A raised circular vacuum housing is embossed twice with the name KüryAkyn (photo 5). An embossed mark below the vacuum housing reads PAT. # 340 513 (photo 6). The front of the assembly consists of dual air ports containing two horizontal butterfly valves. The rear features a three-bolt mounting flange designed for a carburetor or throttle body interface (photo 3). A central brass-colored decorative trim ring is secured to the top of the body. The item shows significant signs of use. The chrome-plated exterior has widespread surface pitting and oxidation (photo 4). Heavy white oxidation and residue are concentrated around the base of the vacuum housing and on the rear mounting plate (photo 3, 6). Light surface scratches and scuffs are visible on the chrome body (photo 4). The brass-colored interior valves show minor discoloration (photo 1). The vacuum-actuated operation of the valves is untested.
