US 2006 American Silver Eagle 1 oz Fine Silver One Dollar Coin with Aftermarket Holographic Finish - A US 2006 American Silver Eagle one dollar coin struck in 1 oz of .999 fine silver. The coin features the Walking Liberty obverse and a heraldic eagle reverse. The obverse is inscribed with the characters L I B E R T Y, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2006. The reverse bears the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER-ONE DOLLAR, and a ribbon inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM. A vibrant iridescent holographic-style finish has been applied to the central relief of both the obverse and reverse. The coin is presented in a clear plastic protective capsule and housed in a blue velvet-lined hinged presentation box with a cream-colored satin lid liner and a blue ribbon pull. Diameter: 1.6 inches. The coin appears in uncirculated condition with no visible wear to the high points of the design (photos 2, 3). The holographic finish is well-adhered and displays a full color range. The clear plastic capsule exhibits light superficial surface scratching (photos 1, 4). The blue velvet presentation box is structurally sound with no significant fraying or staining.
