Republic of Liberia 2000 US President Dwight D Eisenhower 20 Dollar Silver Proof Coin - This 2000 Republic of Liberia 20 Dollar coin is a commemorative silver proof issued as part of a series honoring US Presidents. The obverse features a frosted portrait of Dwight D. Eisenhower set against mirrored fields. The transcriptions include XXXIV U.S. PRESIDENT, DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, the term dates 1953 and 1961, and the denomination $20. The reverse depicts the coat of arms of Liberia, showing a sailing ship, a palm tree, and a plow within a shield, with the year 20 00 split by the design. The reverse is inscribed REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA and 20 DOLLARS, with two ribbons bearing the mottos THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE and REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.
