Tibetan Style Articulated Silver Toned Pendant Necklace with Amber Coral and Turquoise - A large two-part articulated pendant necklace in a Himalayan tribal style. The necklace features a silver-toned flat snake chain supporting a multi-material pendant. The upper portion of the pendant consists of a large translucent dark-honey-colored oval amber cabochon with visible internal spangles, housed within a silver-toned metal mount featuring repoussé floral and scrollwork designs and two small round red coral cabochons. The two sections are joined by a hand-wrapped cord link. The lower circular pendant features a radial arrangement of seven white and black circular inlays depicting yin-yang symbols, interspersed with six cylindrical red coral branch-style beads and multiple small round turquoise cabochons. The reverse of the lower pendant is decorated with an incised circular mandala-style motif. A small impressed mark, possibly a stylized V or symbol, is located near the bottom edge of the lower pendant's reverse, but it is not legible as a name or standard hallmark. The necklace is in good condition with age-appropriate wear. The hand-wrapped cord link between the pendant sections shows signs of wear and minor fraying (Photo 8). The amber cabochon exhibits light surface scratches and scuffing consistent with handling (Photo 7). The metal backing of the lower circular pendant shows slight irregularities and minor indentations (Photo 5). No stones appear to be missing.
