A Collection of Vintage Gold Filled Jewelry Including Wells and Van Dell Brooches - This collection of gold filled vintage jewelry includes multiple brooches, a ring, a necklace, and various components. A large brushed finish flower brooch features a central faux pearl and bears an oval plaque impressed WELLS 14K G.F. A floral spray brooch is designed with rose and yellow gold toned petals, a central red faceted stone, and a faux pearl; it features an oval plaque impressed VAN DELL CO 1/20 12K G.F. A geometric cross pin is impressed 10K TOP on the reverse. A solitaire ring is set with a clear faceted stone and bears the impressed marks 10K G.E. on the interior shank. A circular component is impressed 1/20-12K-G.F. SHOE. A screw back earring is impressed 1/20 12K GOLD FILLED on the closure. The lot also includes a fine chain necklace with a tag impressed D.E.C. 1/20 12K G.F. and an additional circular component impressed 1/20 12K GF. Measurements from the ruler in photo 12: Floral spray brooch: 2.5 inches long Flower brooch: 1.75 inches wide Chain necklace: approximately 18 inches total length Individual smaller pieces: 0.5 to 1 inch. The collection is in fair to good vintage condition. Significant surface tarnish and oxidation are visible on the reverse of the Van Dell floral spray brooch (photo 7) and the petals of the Wells flower brooch (photo 4). The solitaire ring shows wear to the gold finish on the shank and surface abrasions to the central clear stone (photo 2). General surface scratches, minor tarnish, and signs of use consistent with age are present across all pieces in the lot (photo 1).
