Vintage Two Strand Beaded Heart Motif Costume Necklace - A Korean two-strand costume jewelry necklace featuring stations of metallic decorative elements. The necklace consists of two lengths of square snake chain. These chains are embellished with various beads, including puffed heart charms, textured cylindrical spacers, and spherical beads with embossed floral designs. The piece is constructed from two-tone metal with a plated finish, exhibiting both silver and yellow metallic tones. It secures with a lobster claw clasp. A flat metal hang tag attached to the clasp is stamped with the word KOREA in block capital letters. Folded length: 16 inches Total circumference: 32 inches. The necklace is in fair vintage condition. There is significant and visible wear to the metal plating throughout the piece, particularly on the lobster claw clasp, the chain links, and the edges of the decorative beads (photo 4, photo 5). This wear reveals the underlying darker base metal. Tarnish and oxidation are present across the metallic surfaces, especially in the recessed areas of the textured and embossed beads (photo 2, photo 3).
