Victorian Gold-Toned Miniature Bucket Pendant - A Victorian miniature bucket-form pendant constructed from gold-toned metal. The cylindrical body features a textured background decorated with three rows of applied ornamentation. The upper tier consists of a series of small open circular rings, the middle tier contains raised circular studs, and the lower tier is adorned with trefoil leaf motifs. A movable wire handle is attached to two loops at the rim and supports a jump ring for suspension. The outer rim of the base features an indented mark that begins with the numeral 1 followed by two characters that are not legible as a name or standard hallmark. Height: 0.75 inches Diameter: 0.4 inches Weight: 2.31 dwt. The pendant exhibits heavy surface oxidation and a dark patina across the body and within the recessed decorative areas (photo 1, photo 3). Significant surface darkening is visible on the interior (photo 2). There are minor surface scratches and rubbing consistent with age and handling (photo 4).
