Vintage Israeli Silver Twelve Tribes Address Book Keychain - A vintage silver souvenir address book keychain featuring Israeli national and religious iconography. The rectangular metal case is constructed with a repousse front cover depicting twelve circular medallions, each containing a symbol representing one of the twelve tribes of Israel. This panel is set with five round cabochon stones, including three turquoise-colored and two coral-red stones. The top of the front panel bears an impressed inscription reading 12 TRIBE OF ISRAEL. The reverse of the case features a relief scene of two figures carrying a cluster of grapes on a pole, a motif referencing the biblical spies of Israel. This side is impressed with a diagonal banner reading SOUVENIR FROM ISRAEL and a second banner with the Hebrew characters בזכרון מישראל. One side edge of the case is impressed with the word SILVER. The interior contains a swiveling paper address book with alphabetical tabs, printed with fields for names and addresses. The case is attached to a metal snake chain with a large spring-loaded clasp.
