A Pair of Von Musulin Sterling Silver Modernist Clip-On Earrings - A matched mirrored pair of sculptural sterling silver clip-on earrings. Each earring features a bold, curvilinear form with deep fluid ribbing and polished surfaces, reminiscent of a nautilus shell or a breaking wave. The center of each spiral is set with a round faceted light smoky brown gemstone in a substantial bezel setting. The earrings are designed for non-pierced ears with clip-on mechanisms. The reverse of each earring bears two impressed marks in rectangular fields; the upper mark reads VON MUSULIN and the lower mark reads STERLING. Weight: 0.960 ozt. The earrings are in good vintage condition. Fine hairline scratches and light surface wear are visible across the polished silver sections (photo 1). There are areas of mild tarnish within the recessed ribbing and on the reverse (photo 3). The gemstones appear clear and securely held within their bezel settings with no visible chips or fractures (photo 2). The clip-on mechanisms are functional and secure.
